Keyboard shortcuts

Today many of the tasks at work or on a personal project are done or can be done on a computer, to be more productive it is essential to work with keyboard shortcuts.

function keys:

F1 Allows you to open the Help window
F2 Allows you to rename the selected file
F3 Opens the Search window, or the Search pane for the Explorer
F4 Windows Explorer: Open the Folder drop-down list
F5 To refresh a Web page or Windows Explorer
F10 Gives focus to the first menu of the current window
F11 To save a document that has not already been saved (save As)

Windows key

The Windows key is a small flag (Windows logo) that is located between the CTRL and ALT keys on the left, and the first key between the AltGr and CTRL keys on the right. The key you’ll use most often will be Windows + D.

Alt Allows you to give focus to the first menu of the displayed window
Alt + Letter Allows you to give focus to the menu of the displayed window whose letter is underlined
Alt + F4 To close the displayed window
ALT + SPACEBAR Opens the title bar menu of the displayed window
Alt + TAB (Windows + TAB under Vista) When the ALT key is maintained, you can move to the next window by pressing Tab
ALT + SHIFT + TAB (Windows + SHIFT + TAB under Vista) When the Alt and Shift keys are held, you can move to the previous window by pressing Tab
ALT + number Type the character whose number is the code, for example ALT + 128 for Ç

Go to the Accents area with the ALT key to see the accents that are created with a combination of the ALT key and numeric keypad digits.

Ctrl + F5 Forces the page to refresh (in case a server has a cache)
F6 Also allows you to go to the address bar
F11 Expands the Internet window by keeping only the navigation buttons
Back Lets go to the previous page
Shift + Space Allows the Web page to be remounted
Shift + return Allows you to go to the page visited before a back
Ctrl + t Opens a new tab
Ctrl + Shift + t Reopens the last Closed tab
